Hello blog world, today {19/05/16} we had more gymnastics. This week we didn't do a new movement pattern but we did the two ones we've done before; locomotion & static movements. Instead we had our focus on landing. Here are pictures...
This was when we were trying to use different parts
of our body to balance on.

This was when we were trying to touch our toes with our forehead.

This was when our teacher, kane, was lifting up Cicilia by

Chess Week 2 Term 2

Here is the origins of the game we all know & love... Chess. Once upon a time, there was a king who lived in India, who loved going to war & fighting. But unfortunately he was very lazy & wanted a way to go to war without all the commotion & moving. So he asked one of his servants to make a game for him to play that would be related to war. So that's how Chess became a game...

Hello about 2,506 people that have viewed my blog, I will be telling you about yesterday {12/05/16} when we had our first chess session. We learnt all the names; King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook & Pawn. After we learnt those & their properties we moved on to playing the game. Here are a few pictures of our time...

Here is a pair having a go at the game.

Gymnastics Week 1

Hello bloggers, today {05/05/16} we had our first gymnastics lesson. I thought it was OK, obviously because I'm a boy I did not absolutely love the idea but it was a bit fun other wise.

We learnt a few positions in during gymnastics & the few of them are all in a group tied in with being static or still. Here are the pictures our teacher took while we where having our P.E. or gymnastics lessons.
This is someone going to roll down the pad.
This is the front support position.
This is called the invisible chair, it strengthens your stomach.
This is the stradle position.

Spelling practice week 1

In Scott class spelling, we don't do spelling tests any more, but we do practice them. How I practice my words is that at home, I practice them for a few minutes & then my dad tests me on them. He reads them out to me & I spell them.
