Toolkits Reflection {23/08/16}

Hi Guys,
Two Days ago we had Toolkits! It would be cool if you went to the Toolkits & you are reading this blog post! But, if you don't know what Toolkits are, they are when we have a couple of classes from a few schools & we teach them some tricks & tips & they taught us some tips & tricks. It was a very cool experience due to it was my first time with Toolkits. (P.S I was away last year)
I was a Techxpert, which helps with all the Technical difficultys & stuff, also with getting kids connected to the screen cast on our TV.

Dance Session {Session 4 - 4 Noooooo}

Hi Blog,

Today we had our last Session with Emily, our dance teacher.

We learnt how to dance to a Hip Hop song called, "Worth It," I really enjoyed it. It was fun dancing to the song. We also danced to a few songs we have, over the passed 4 sessions. We did the "Cha Cha Challenge" which I've done before. Also we danced to a Song we have done before called the "Freeze Dance."

Split Class (Yesterday 16/08/16)

Hi Blog,

Yesterday, we had a split class because most of our senior classes had rugby. So we had tog go into the 2 other senior classes & do what they were doing which was actually quite a bit more fun then I expected. We went into Killeen Class (Link to their blog below)

We had 50 minutes to make a gadget that would pick up fruit & transport it over to us (1 Meter) without touching the fruit. We only had, Nylon String, Tape, Paper, 2 Straws, 2 Cue tips, 2 Popsicle Sticks & Scissors for Building. There were about 4 to 6 groups making different mechanics, but none of them worked.

Andrew Nicholson Pays us a visit!

Today we had a very exciting visit from a Olympian called, Andrew Nicholson.
He is known (or a bit famous) for beating the world record for biking around the world & is a retired Olympian Speed Skater. On his bike around the world he rode 29000 km in 123 days, around about 4 months. He was a 3rd time Olympic Speed Skater, wasn't the best but was very good.

A little Quiz about the Olympics...

Dance {Session 2/4}

Hey People,
Today we had our second Dance session. We mostly did what we did last week, but we did do some new things. We danced to songs then when the music stops we have to get into groups of which Emily says, then we have to make the shape she says. Also, we played a game called Heart Beats, which we have to lay in a circle and cross hands to try to tap each one on the ground in order. *Sorry I was late to post so no pictures*

Good-Afternoon Blog, (It's 3:35pm)

Today we had 1 (or 2) people come in this morning. They were the people (or the person) who represents the Ned Show. Ned, as you may be wondering is a picture of a cartoon person with a Yoyo. (Thats why I said, "Or One.") Ned stands for N-ever give up | E-ncourage others | D-o your best!

The Girls name was Channing. She told a story about Ned, (DON'T WORRY I WON'T SPOIL IT!!!) 

and she represented it with different Yoyo tricks.

Zirka Circus Sneak Peek
