Hey guys, at school we went to hockey & we played a game. We split up into three teams & played games, the winning team stays on but if the winning team wins twice in a row that team will go off the field & switch teams. Here are a few photos...

Walt: write super sentences

WALT write super sentences.

There are 7 different ways to write super sentences!

1. Add in words
2. Drop in chunks of information
3. Add on at the end
4. Add on at the beginning
5. Change words
6. Add a simile
7. Alliterate

In pairs change this sentence in the seven different ways, stick to one way for each new sentence.

The boy ran down to the river.

1. The handsome boy sped down to the littered river.
2. The really smart boy ran as fast as a cheetah down to the river to save the cat.
3. The boy ran down the river to save the cat.
4. The really smart boy dashed down the river bank, down to the river.
5. The child rushed over to the stream.
6. The boy sneakily ran down the river like a spy.
7. The tiny boy tapped and tipped down to the river.

Put all into one sentence.

The Child walked to school.

The academic child trotted off with a tip & a tap to elementary school like a horse.

Hockey Week 6

Hi guys, today {13/06/16} we had another hockey practice. The reason I haven't been blogging about these because they are on Monday & I have been sick the past few Mondays. So today we learnt how to do a sweep hit. A sweep hit is when you charge up momentum with your stick by sweeping it across the ground and then hitting the ball really hard. Then we had a game after.
